In the Southern Lands, Sauron’s cunning plans were exposed as Arondir awoke amid a horde of mocking orcs – brilliantly bestial in both manner and design. Along with the other elves, Médhor and Revion, he was forced to work on building what would likely become this abandoned hellish landscape known as Mordor.
Elsewhere, Galadriel and Halbrand were dragged from the Dividing Seas by Elendil (Lloyd Owen) and escorted to the kingdom of Númenor. The elven warrior received a chilling party while Halbrand initiated a bone-breaking scuffle with some of the pompous Númenóreans as they approached Game of Thrones territory – hence the Episode 15 certificate!
What will we learn about the Stranger now that he has become friends with the Harfoot family, the Brandyfoots? And who the hell is the orcish leader Adar? Could one of them be Sauron in disguise, hoping to deceive our heroes?
